Last Monday, Turnaround Artist, Frank Gehry led 30 students at Ellen Ochoa Learning Center in designing their own city. Students worked in teams being led by an architect from Gehry Partners as they designed their own community building. The visit, culminated with students explaining their innovative designs, as well as the aspirations for their communities. Turnaround Arts California President, Melissa Shriver and California State Assembly Speaker, Anthony Rendon were also present. This partnership, supports the vision of Ellen Ochoa educators to transform the community by providing a solid dual language education through integration of the arts and technology.
