Thank you to Tacos El Gavilan for their generous donation!
Even though we cannot be together to celebrate due to COVID-19, we are going to celebrate this milestone with a virtual ceremony. The virtual ceremony will have a video of prerecorded pictures of culminating students displayed on the screen while their names are read out loud for recognition. 8th grade students receiving special awards will also be recognized by their names being read out loud and listed on the award list. Welcome messages and student speeches have been prerecorded and will be a part of the virtual ceremony.
No. Since the Virtual Culmination is a prerecorded event, all you and your family has to do is participate by joining ZOOM when we "go live" at 1pm on Wednesday, June 10.

List of 8th Grade Culminating Students
These students have met the LAUSD district requirement for 8th Grade Certificate of Completion: Each child must earn 50 out of 60 credits in the 8th grade year. This means no more than two Fs received during their 8th grade year, first and second semester combined.
Estos estudiantes han cumplido con el requisito del distrito LAUSD para el Certificado de Finalización de 8o Grado: Cada niño debe ganar 50 de 60 créditos en el año de 8o grado. Esto significa que no más de dos F recibidos durante su 8o grado, primer y segundo semestre combinados.
