These students have met the LAUSD district requirement for 8th Grade Certificate of Completion: Each child must earn 50 out of 60 credits in the 8th grade year. This means no more than two Fs received during their 8th grade year, first and second semester combined.
Estos estudiantes han cumplido con el requisito del distrito LAUSD para el Certificado de Finalización de 8o Grado: Cada niño debe ganar 50 de 60 créditos en el año de 8o grado. Esto significa que no más de dos F recibidos durante su 8o grado, primer y segundo semestre combinados.
Important Update regarding Covid Testing
For culminating students in Advisory L or H that are interested in the in-person ceremony, your weekly Covid test that you will take on 6/1 for Advisory H and 6/2 for Advisory L will count towards culmination. (However, if you are absent on those days, you will have to go to another site (e.g. Gage middle school on 6/3, 6/4, or 6/5 for your Covid Testing for Culmination)
For culminating students in Advisory F that are interested in the in-person ceremony, you will have to get your Covid test on 6/3, 6/4, or 6/5 at Gage MS or another site)
